The Caminho Português (Camino Portuguese) covers the Camino routes starting in Portugal, usually Lisbon or Porto. Short pilgrimages usually start in Tui in Spain, It is the second-most popular route, after the French route. Variants include the side-pilgrimage to Fátima, the coastal route and the Spiritual Variant.

      Caminho Português

      The Caminho Português (Camino Portuguese) covers the Camino routes starting in Portugal, usually Lisbon or Porto. Short pilgrimages usually start in Tui in Spain, It is the second-most popular route, after the French route. Variants include the side-pilgrimage to Fátima, the coastal route and the Spiritual Variant.

      Fátima - Tomar A variant pilgrimage including the Fátima shrine and returning to the main route at Tomar
      Fátima - Ansião A variant pilgrimage including the Fátima shrine and returning to the main route near Ansião
      Variante Espiritual The Spiritual Variant of the main route that follows the last part of the journey of the remains of the Apostle St.James. The variant ends with a boat trip up the Río Ulla
      Coastal Route An alternative to the central route from Porto, the coastal route follows the Atlantic coast from Porto into Spain
      Littoral Route A variation on the coastal route that follows the coastline from Porto to Vila do Conde
      Coastal - Central (Vila do Conde) A transfer from the coastal route to the central route from Vila do Conde to São Pedro do Rates.
      Central - Coastal (São Pedro de Rates - Fão) A transfer from the central route to the coastal route from São Pedro de Rates to Fão.
      Coastal - Central (Minho) A transfer from the coastal route to the central route from Carminha to Valença do Minho, traveling along the Minho river bordering Portugal and Spain.
      Coastal - Central (Minho by Boat) A transfer from the coastal route to the central route from Carminha to Valença do Minho, Via Camino by Boat along the Minho river
